Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the JFEM software and related services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

JFEM is a 3D Structural Analysis Software for building modeling, finite element method (FEM) analysis, and light steel framing (LSF) detailing. The Service includes the desktop application, web dashboard, license management, and related support.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use.

4. License Terms

  • Each license is granted to a single user and may be activated on the number of devices specified by your plan.
  • Licenses are non-transferable unless explicitly authorized by JFEM support.
  • Trial licenses are limited to one per user and one per IP address.
  • License keys must not be shared, published, or distributed to third parties.
  • We reserve the right to revoke licenses that violate these terms.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software.
  • Attempt to bypass license verification or activation mechanisms.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Share, sell, or redistribute license keys.
  • Create multiple accounts to abuse trial licenses.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by JFEM and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your use of the Service does not grant you ownership of any intellectual property.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Structural analysis results should be verified by a qualified professional engineer.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JFEM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to errors in structural analysis calculations.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time through the dashboard settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or dashboard notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
